Shout-out to everyone who participated in our citywide clothing consumer campaign to make fashion circular! Throughout the month of May, we invited the public to give new life to unwanted clothes via 120+ clothing drive locations across Hong Kong. Then in June, we welcomed over 600 of you to our Sort-a-thon to sort through 17.9 tonnes of collected clothing for redistribution to local charities, resale, or responsible downcycling.
We also hosted 21 talks and our largest educational exhibition yet, ‘Redressing the Future: Circular Solutions for Fashion Waste’, showcasing the environmental impact of fashion and highlighting design solutions from various Redress Alumni: Juliana Garcia Bello, Nils Hauser, Pei-Wen Jin, Jana Pondevida, Janko Lam, Aya Letzter, Tiger Chung Ka Ching, Tiger Chung Tsz Ho, Pat Guzik, Ruyin Tian, Angus Tsui, Tiffany Pattinson, Tulika Ranjan, Eric Wong, and Jesse Lee.
And in case you missed it, or want to revisit it: check out our virtual 3D exhibition here!
We couldn't do all this without our amazing sponsors, including our Major Sponsor, Swire Properties; Logistics Partner, UniGroup Asia; PR Partner, FINN; and Bronze Sponsors, KPMG and Crystal International Group Limited. Thank you also to our Sort-a-thon partners for energising the room: GreenPrice for refreshments, Davines for gifts, and Pure Fitness for wellness.
Last week, we also sold a huge selection of the best pieces curated from our Get Redressed Month activities and across the year at our Summer Secondhand Pop-up+, raising funds to continue our work in reducing fashion waste while encouraging Hong Kongers towards more sustainable habits by shopping secondhand.
A heartfelt thank you to all our incredible partners and volunteers whose dedication drove the success of Get Redressed Month 2025. See you next year!
