39% of Hong Kongers have thrown away clothing after wearing it only once. Get Redressed Month encourages everyone to revive, restyle, rewear, repurpose clothes to make them last longer, or to recycle clothing instead of throwing it away. With a small change to how we view our clothes, we can make a big difference in reducing fashion waste and the impact our wardrobes have on the environment.

This year’s exciting new campaign features the stories behind our favourite ever-lasting clothes: founding member of WWF and philanthropist Markus Shaw, Basics to Basics founder Kayla Wong, model Irisa Wong and supermodel Janet Ma, and Hong Kong musician Dough-Boy, and we’ll be asking to hear your stories too!

Throughout October 2020, we’ll be running a series of activities across Hong Kong for companies, schools and individuals. Our signature events include our Get Redressed Clothing Drive, the Sort-a-thon CSR volunteering event and Get Redressed Days.
