Register to receive Redress’ industry report on the role of circular designers

Redress is launching an industry research piece supported by the VF Foundation investigating the role, influence, and limitations of fashion designers working for manufacturers in China and Southeast Asia — and you can sign up to get a digital copy of the report when it releases.

Examining the nuances behind the oft-cited claim that an estimated 80% of a product’s environmental impact is laid down at the design stage (1), we set out to provide useful recommendations for Redress, fashion designers, academia, and the wider fashion industry, to better empower fashion designers in promoting and embedding circularity into garments.

The study sought input from fashion designers and manufacturers across China and Southeast Asia, where the leading suppliers for the majority of fashion brands across the globe are often located.
