You are invited to witness the Redress Design Award 2021 Grand Final Fashion Show on 11 September, where our 10 stunning emerging designer finalists will showcase their waste-reducing collections on our first ever digital-hybrid runway, and winners will be announced. Join us and get inspired!
In response to the core brief of the competition, the finalists give second life to a variety of waste from end-of-rolls or samples, and consumer waste, like suits and uniforms; through to more unusual waste streams like damaged camping equipment and old sailing flags. Hailing from Germany, Hong Kong, India, Mainland China, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and the United States of America, these fashion talents will demonstrate the power and potential that designers have to transform waste into want.
We have teamed up with TENCEL™, as our grand final livestream partner to get you thinking about what you can do in your own lives to make a positive change in fashion, such as supporting emerging designers like our finalists.
