7pm, 10 October 2018, at Cafe 8, Central Ferry Pier No. 8
Together with Hong Kong Green Drinks we will be hosting an event to discuss the environmentally damaging issue of textile waste and how Hong Kong is planning to tackle it. Alongside the talk we will also be hosting a mini clothes swap, so be sure to bring along 1-10 items you don't wear anymore to swap them out for another one! Register for the event here.
DROP: Bring 1-10 pieces of pre-loved clothing to the event
SWAP: Enjoy the talk while Redress team sorts and displays your items
SHOP: At the end of the evening, choose something new to take home, absolutely free!
- Gently worn clothes, accessories, bags, or shoes
- Items should be in good condition, cleaned and folded, with pockets emptied
- Clothes for any season, gender, or age are welcome
- Anything stained, broken, damaged, or dirty
- Fur, underwear, socks, and corporate-event or promotional clothes
Any remaining items after the swap will be collected by Redress for sorting and redistribution to suitable recipients. Let’s close the loop together.
