Volunteer With Redress: Help Us Sort Through Clothing Donations

Multiple date options across Oct & Nov

Our city-wide clothing drive is expected to collect in excess of 7 tonnes of clothing donations. Redress rely on the help of volunteers to help us carefully sort through our second-hand clothing donations for re-distribution to our charity beneficiaries - can you help?

Volunteers will receive a detailed briefing about Redress and the measures we are taking to help extend the life-cycle of our clothes. You will also be given further information on  our charity beneficiaries and how to select clothing according to their specific requirements.

Masks and gloves will be provided for sorting purposes.

Charities receiving donations include: Crossroads, Friends of the Earth, Christian Action, St James Settlement, Po Leung Kuk, Mother's Choice, Pathfinders, Impact HK, Suits for Success, J Life Foundation, Changing Young Lives Foundation, Asbury Methodist Church, Tung Wah Hospitals and Lizzie Bee.

Top quality clothes will also be sold to raise funds for Redress, whilst the clothes that do not meet our charity beneficiary requirements will be kept for Redress’ new circular economy initiative and ultimately recycled into new yarns!

There are multiple sessions across October and into November. Sign up for morning volunteering sessions via Hands on Hong Kong
