EcoChic Singapore featured 31 international fashion and accessory designers from over 20 countries in a sustainable fashion show that stopped, shocked and educated shoppers about the range of sustainable fashion at the Suntec City Mall on 1st and 2nd May 2010. This high-caliber sustainable fashion show was the first of its kind to be presented to the public, offering a unique opportunity to spread the positive power of fashion to Singaporean consumers.
Off the runway, we presented an exhibition to engage consumers about the broader issues surrounding fashion and the environment. We also supported in organising creative consumer workshops to give the public the chance to learn reconstruction sewing technique.
The EcoChic Singapore events were fringe events of Asian Fashion Exchange, an annual Singaporean initiative to stimulate Singapore’s fashion industry.
This fashion show was art directed by Holly Suan Gray.
