The most popular event on the Redress calendar is returning this winter! Get ready to browse and buy our curated selection of quality secondhand items collected from the Get Redressed Clothing Drive for six days from 18–23 November.

Get Redressed Month invites Hong Kongers to take a look inside their closets and consider how they can reuse, rewear, and recycle their clothes with a series of activities:

With support from our friends at Swire Properties, OnTheList, and PizzaExpress, Redress will be popping up at 25/F, Cambridge House, Taikoo Place for five days from Tuesday, 12 July until Sunday, 17 July. Make your way through the racks, try on, and purchase quality secondhand men’s and women’s clothing from just $50.

Participate in a fun-filled online crafting session where participants will learn three embroidery techniques to jazz up their jeans. Friendly faces joining the Redress team for casual conversation include Kayla Wong, Founder of Basics to Basics, Sarah Fung, owner of HULA, Jesse Lee, Redress Design Award Alumnus and fashion designer, and Winsome Lok, Founder of Sew on Studio social enterprise. THE ANNEX, Nan Fung Place | 3-12 February 2020

During the 24 Hour Sort-a-thon we are aiming to sort through all of the clothing collected in the Get Redressed Clothing Drive (forecasted as over 10 tonnes) in just 24 hours, with the help of 25 teams of corporate volunteers. Over the whole 24-hour event (12pm Friday 22 November - 12pm Saturday 23 November), the 25 teams will simultaneously sort clothes to a fun backdrop of live music, great food and drinks whilst meeting new people, learning about the issue of textile waste in Hong Kong and directly benefiting people in need.

Be inspired about how the positive power of fashion can transform waste into want

Select garments from the eleven 2018 Redress Design Award Finalists’ collections are on display from 14–23 September at the Mercedes me Store, as part of HKTDC’s ‘Hong Kong in Fashion’ – a month-long city wide campaign promoting fashion, trends and creativity at various trendsetting hotspots.

Along with the Redress Design Award 2018 Grand Final at HKTDC’s CENTRESTAGE Redress are also celebrating our alumni designers from the previous seven cycles of the competition: From 5-8 September, we will be presenting six sustainable alumni brands - Pat Guzik, Angus Tsui, Artisan (designed by David Lee), Absurd Laboratory (designed by Eric Wong), Classics Anew (designed by Janko Lam) and The R Collective (designed by Lia Kassif), which will be on display in Hall 3B.
