Welcoming schools to join our two student-led activities in October
Empowering future generations to reduce fashion’s negative environmental impacts is a core part of our work at Redress. To accelerate our impact on students’ habits towards clothing, this fall we are launching two new activities targeting Hong Kong primary and secondary schools respectively. Applications are currently open, and we’d love to have you join us!
1 . Wear Secondhand Day 2023
Ages: All primary school students
Date: 17 October 2023 (Tuesday)

Application deadline: 15 September 2023 (Friday)
How it works: students may wear secondhand clothes to school on the designated date, and make a small donation to support Redress’ educational work. Redress will provide teaching materials (e.g. newsletters, short videos, activity guides, etc.) to assist schools with their participation.
2 . Get Redressed Ambassador Programme 2023/24
Ages: Forms 4–5 in year 2023–24
Dates: 28 October – 18 November 2023

Application deadline: 22 September 2023 (Friday)
How it works: Any school can nominate two students to become school ambassadors who will participate in a four-week programme of activities (including service learning, field trips, planning workshops, etc.) between October and November, and represent the school for Get Redressed Month in May 2024.
