On June 7 2015, the last in a series of five Fashion Academies took place in India to bring sustainable fashion education to emerging designers. In Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing, London and Mumbai attendees were inspired by the positive power of fashion, hearing from a variety of sustainable fashion experts and previous competition alumni. Ten next generation fashion designers were announced today as the finalists for the EcoChic Design Award 2014/15. They will now take their minimal waste designs from concept to reality for presentation at Hong Kong Fashion Week in January 2015 as they battle it out for career changing prizes.
