10 for 10
This September Redress is turning 10!
We invite you to be part of the celebrations. Join the movement creating positive change, and support our work across the world (see below for how). What ever you do - be it big or small - be part of the 10 for 10 campaign this September!
Since 2007, we have worked hard to cut waste out of fashion through our programmes to educate, inspire and drive positive change with consumers, designers and the industry. But too many clothing and textiles are still ending up in our landfills every year. In Hong Kong this figure is approximately 111,690 tonnes per year; China generates over 26 million tonnes of industry and consumer textile waste; and the European Union creates 9.4 billion tonnes of textiles that are either landfilled or incinerated. Our work is still needed, and you can be part of the change.
As part of the main campaign we are holding a social media campaign sharing 10 things that each individual can do to make a start towards a more conscious wardrobe, which we encourage you to share with your networks and teams to catalyse further positive change across the world.
